Nominations are still open for the Eldee Easter Event

Do you want to take your family away to the outback for a great outdoor 4WD challenge that will involve your whole family?  Well the Eldee Easter Event is the event for you that even includes the traditional Easter Egg Hunt as one of the challenges. To date we have sponsorship of around the $10 000.00 mark so there are lots of prizes that are up for grabs for you and your family. You and your family will also have the opportunity to be filmed by the dedicated and professional crew from 4WD TV.  All you need is your Standard 4WD, your family and to visit our website to see what package you would like to purchase including your nomination as well.

Proposed Program

We had a fantastic weekend for the event in 2011 with great weather, people, food, organisation and sponsors. This event has proved to be a great partnership between the Schmidt's of Eldee Station and Simon and Miranda Christie from 4WD Tv and Your 4 X 4 so come and join us again this year for another great event.

The proposed program for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is as follows:

Friday afternoon - 6 April, 2012

1. 3.00pm - 5.30pm Friday afternoon Driver Registration
2. 6.30pm Spaghetti Dinner and Desserts will be served for those purchase packages

Saturday - 7 April, 2012

1. 7.00am - 8.30am Breakfast available for those who purchase packages
2. 9.00am Map Reading Tutorial
3. 9.30am Drivers Briefing
4. 9.30am First challenge starts - 4 stages before lunch
5. 12.30pm - 2.00pm approximate time for Lunch - Sausage sizzle available for those who purchase packages
6. 1.30pm - 3.30pm 3 stages after lunch
7. 5.00pm Sunset tag along tour
8. 7.00pm BBQ Dinner with salad and desserts for those who purchase packages
9. 8.00pm Family Trivia Night
10. Afterwards large openfire with adult supervision need for children weather permitting

Sunday - 8 April, 2012

1. 7.00am Breakfast availablefor those who purchase packages
2. 8.30am Easter egg hunt for children
3. 9.30am 7th challenge starts with 3 challenges before lunch
4. 12.30pm - 1.30pm Lunch - Hot Dogs available for those who purchase packages
5. 1.30pm - 4.00pm free time
6. 4.00pm Presentation for the event
7. 6.30pm 2 course dinner of Roast meat, vegetables, roll and desert for those who purchase packages

Monday morning - 9 April, 2012

1. 7.00am Breakfast available for prebooked and also to be purchased on the day
