Megafauna on Eldee Station

We have a site here on Eldee Station that retains the skeletal remains of giant wombats - a diprotodon. These animals were about the size of a hippopotamus but hairy.

The Giant Wombat was the largest know marsupial to inhabit the earth from about 1.5 million years to possibly
25 000 years ago.
