4WD Tag Along Tours

Our Mundi Mundi Head Station 4WD Tag Along Tours leave the Dining Room at 9.00am every Sunday. There will be a lead vehicle coming from Eldee Station. This Tag Along Tour requires all participants to follow the tour guide's vehicle at all times. The group of 4WD's will travel on Eldee Station over the Mundi Mundi Plains and into the Barrier Ranges.

There will be many photographic opportunities on these 4WD Tag Along Tours because of the varied landscape and wildlife, fantastic views from the top of the Barrier Ranges and the Mundi Mundi Head Station ruins. Mundi Mundi was the first station set up by the Whittings by the late 1850's. This homestead is where the first European female was born on the Barrier Ranges.

Duration:  3 1/2 to 4 Hours
Cost:       $70.00/per car
Where:  From the Eldee Station Dining Room located at the Eldee Station Homestead
When:  10.00 am Sunday Mornings.
Other days: yes other days are available for groups of no less than 4 vehicles if tours are pre booked.

Sunset 4WD Tag Along Tour

Duration: 1hour or so!
Cost:      $25.00/per car
Where:  From the Eldee Station Dining Room located at the Eldee Station Homestead
When:  5.00 pm Saturday afternoon.
Other days: yes other days are available for groups of no less than 4 vehicles if tours are pre booked.

The Sunset Tag Along Tour means you get to travel up the western side of the Barrier Ranges. Once there you get the chance to relax and watch the sun set over the spectacularly flat Mundi Mundi Plains. Sunset Tag Along Packages can be arranged by clicking here to email us.
